Enter The Art Institutes Storytellers Photography Competition at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh
[PITTSBURGH, PA February 2012] – If you see the world in photographs, then The Art Institutes challenge you to put your skills to the test in the third annual Storytellers Photography Competition. Submit six original photographs that tell a visual story for your opportunity to earn up to a $40,000 tuition scholarship to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
The Storytellers Photography Competition has categories for both high school seniors and high school graduates. Along with the photos, entrants are required to submit a 500-800 word artist statement describing the entry and a high school transcript or proof of high school graduation demonstrating a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Entries will be judged on their ability to communicate a story based on the theme Storytelling Through the Lens.
The grand prize winner in the high school senior category can earn up to a $40,000 tuition scholarship to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the grand prize winner in the high school graduate category can earn up to a $10,000 tuition scholarship to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Submissions are initially judged at the local level, with one finalist from each participating school advancing to the national level.

The deadline for entries into the competition is March 2, 2012.
